Squishy Cash, Product Overview

It’s time for another review of a free money making site. So what is squishycash.com about and will it make you money? The short answer to that is yes, but as for a long term solution of making money such as a full time income, well, I would not say that this site will allow you to make that happen.

Now Squishy Cash is very similar to some other sites I’ve reviewed such as superpay.me and ySense (formerly Clixsense). It’s similar in the sense that they have multiple ways you can earn money. There’s offers, surveys, trials, and more that you can do to earn money. They also have a decent referral program so there’s potential to make more money that way as well and depending on how active your referrals are on the site, there is potential to make some decent money there.

I will explain everything in more detail as well as my experiences with this particular site so far. I haven’t been a member of the site for too long, but I’ve already completed two surveys and I’m waiting to receive my rewards from it. There’s also a bonus you get when you sign up and I’ll talk about that shortly as well.

How To Get Started

Getting started at squishy.com is pretty easy. As I mentioned above, it’s completely free to join so you don’t have to worry about spending any money to join. However, with that being said, there are some methods on squishy that have the potential to cost you some money especially if you don’t pay attention to the fine details. More about that a little bit later.

It’s pretty easy to sign up. All you have to do is type in your email address, first and last name, what you want your user name to be, a password and then confirm both your password and email. The form does have a section to put your mailing address, but it does say it is optional at sign up. If you want to get paid though, you’ll have to put in your mailing address for verification purposes.

The next thing to fill in is your birthday and if you were referred by anyone. All that will be left after that is confirming your not a robot and clicking the box saying that you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions. They will also send you a welcome and confirmation email. Once all that is done, you’re good to go and they’ll give you a $3.00 bonus as well as 5 chips (which can eventually be converted into cash) just for signing up.

Squishycash.com has been around for awhile and they show up at the top of their homepage just how much in total they’ve paid out to their members. They’ve been around since 2007 and their current number of members (this is always being updated) is not too terribly far from 200,000. Now it’s time to get into the meat and potatoes of the sight to see how you can start making money.

How To Make Money at Squishy Cash

After you become a member, I’m sure you’ll want to start earning some cash. You’ll want to either click the button at the top that says Earn, or you can scroll down to the bottom of the page and there will be a link at the bottom that says Earn also which will take you to the page that will different have methods where you can start earning money.

Surveys is what I’m used to doing so that is the first thing I’ve tried. It’s a little bit different it seems when you take them and want to get credited for completing them. So far, I haven’t been rejected when trying to take them, but I’ve only tried and completed 2 so far. They surveys I have done come from a sight called Yuno surveys.

Yuno Congratulation Completed Survey Page

I’m not quite sure how I feel about the survey section of the site yet. While it did say I had successfully completed the surveys and that my account had been credited with my rewards, I have yet to actually see them. What’s interesting is that it says that after completing an offer, which in this case are two surveys, it says that I have to click on the submit button and the offer will be added to my pending folder.

I actually did end up finding my pending folder and it does show my pending or completed surveys. One of them though is questionable because I didn’t hit the submit button after the first survey I did and so once I read the instructions later on, I clicked on the survey site link, and then clicked submit and exited out of Yuno surveys. We’ll see if they make that one fall away or if I actually get credited with it. The surveys were worth $0.40 each so that should bring my total earnings thus far to $3.80. Remember, the $3.00 was a bonus for signing up which you will get too if you sign up.

$0.40 isn’t too bad as another survey site I actively participate in will always pay a minimum of $0.10. When you scroll down the survey section, you’ll see other survey options that offer different amounts for completed surveys. Some offer $0.50 and $0.60 while a few I’ve even seen offer $1.00. Again, I don’t know if you’ll be able to qualify for all of them, but so far out of the 2 I’ve tried, I was able to successfully complete them. Now it’s time to take a look at some of the other options at Squishy Cash where you can make some money.

Clicking

This particular method is exactly as it sounds. You click in order to get paid. More specifically, you click on ads and have to stay on the page for a certain length of time in order to get paid. This may seem like the easiest method to earn money on the site, but I do have to say you won’t earn very much from it. You really earn fractions of a penny. If you do enough of them though, I can see them adding up, but you’ll probably have to click a lot of them and they only offer a certain amount of those clickable ads each day.

In my second day of trying this particular method, there weren’t any available ads to click on so it seems they may be limited on how many they can offer to where you can click and get paid. They probably will add some more soon, but you’ll just have to keep an eye out for them.

With all the ads I clicked on, they came to a total with everything to a penny. This will probably not be worth the time for many members here, but it really doesn’t take very long to click and then stay on the page of the ad, which for a lot of them was just around 3 seconds. There were some that were 15 seconds, but those were rare. There are other and better ways to earn money on this site and I’ll share more of those.

Offers

There are a few different types of offers that you can choose from that range from free offers to trial offers. I haven’t tried any of these yet, but I have taken a look at them to see what they are all about or at least how they work. I’ll first go over the free offers that are available.

Now I’m going to say that these supposedly free offers should be taken with a grain of salt here. Most of the free offers that you click on will take you to a page where it says you can earn a fairly significant gift card to either a restaurant or popular retailer. Here is where they get you though. In order to qualify to receive that particular gift card or reward, you have to agree to the terms and conditions and then it usually says that participation and purchases are required.

Offers at Squishy Cash

Squishy Cash Free Offers

There’s usually a link that says see details and then a separate box will pop up with the program requirements. Some of them say that you have to complete a certain number of gold, silver, and platinum offers as well as some purchases may be required in order to receive the reward. No offense, but to me, that doesn’t seem free in the end.

Don’t get me wrong, I understand that these types of sites have to make money somehow in order to pay out their members, but I don’t like them using the terms free offers when in reality, they are usually not always free and may end up costing you money from the requirements needed to get the gift card or other reward.

The actual payment to your account at Squishy Cash varies, but from what I’ve seen, they offer anywhere from $0.50 to maybe $0.60. Those can add up, but honestly, is it worth the requirements that may end up costing you more in the long run? For me, I would say no, but some of the offers might be what some people are looking for so it might be worth it for some.

Trials and Shopping Offers

This area of the make money site appears to be where you can earn the most money, but this where it could cost you the most as well. They have trial offers as well as other special deals for shopping where you can earn some decent cash depending on if you’re willing to spend the money for these offers.

One of them I saw is for Sprint where your reward is $15.00 as well as a certain amount of chips if you complete their offer which is to purchase a refurbished phone with a new line. If you’re already a Sprint customer and are looking to add a new line, then this offer is for you, otherwise, you’ll probably want to stay away.

Another one that I saw is for a company called Sure Trader and you’ll earn $30.00 as well as 30 chips if you open an account, fund it, and then make a trade. I believe once you do all of that, the company will send out confirmation to Squishy Cash and then you’ll be credited with your reward. Of course, I’m not sure how much is needed to fund that trading account and they could have a minimum for $100 or more. Use your own discretion for these type of offers.

There are some different trial offers you can sign up for where it’s free for a limited time and then you usually have to start paying for some kind of subscription. Some of the rewards for the trial offers vary, usually around $0.50 up to $3.00 or more or just a certain amount of chips which you’ll be able to convert to cash later on.

The bad thing about these initial free trial offers is if you forget to cancel during the free part of it, you’ll automatically be charged for a regular subscription. With that being said, there is actually a way around this. When you first sign up for a trial offer, you usually have to put in either credit card or debit card information so that when the trial is up, they can automatically charge you for a regular subscription. If you don’t want to be charged for that, use a gift card and even one that may not have any money left on it. They usually do have an expiration date printed on the front of the card as well as a 3 digit number on the back so it can be used similar to a debit card. That way, you won’t have to worry about being charged or you can always reload it (if it’s one of those type of gift cards) as you see fit.

Is Squishy Cash a Scam?

Now that you know what squishycash.com is about and know most of the ways that you can earn money at Squishy Cash, the biggest question to answer is if it’s a scam or not. Squishy Cash is most definitely not a scam as they’ve paid out their members since 2007 which is how long they’ve been around.

Pending Folder

Oh yes, I forgot to mention the most important thing. There is a minimum thresh hold amount you have to reach before you can actually cash out. You have to reach $15.00 in order to cash out the money you’ve earned. Depending on which of the options you choose to earn money on the site, it can take a little bit of time to reach that thresh hold or it won’t take you too terribly long to reach it.

I did mention earlier that they do have a referral program which is another way to earn some money. Here is information about Squishy Cash’s referral program:

“What’s it all about anyways?!

At SquishyCash, you earn 25% of what your friend’s make in earnings, 5% of what your 2nd level referrals earn, 2% from your 3rd level, 1% from your 4th level, and 1% from your 5th level. Excludes surveys, contests, and SquishySlots. You will also earn 5% of your 1st level referrals advertising purchases, 2% from your 2nd level, and 1% from your 3rd level.

In addition to the awesome referral system, you also earn $1 per active 1st level referral (must be a direct referral, not the result of an account upgrade, and offer payout must be at least $0.25 to qualify).

Think of the possibilities!

Your friends

Earn 25% of what they make in cash and chips by completing offers.

The earning potential is unlimited, so get in on the action today!

If you’re looking for ideas about getting referrals, check out the info on our referring help page.

In my opinion, that’s not too shabby of a referral program for this type of make money site. The more active your referrals are, the more potential there is to make some decent money, but I wouldn’t say that this would be a reliable way to make a full time income in the long run. You can probably earn enough money on this site to pay a few bills each month or put back into savings.

Again, Squishy Cash is not a scam at all, but you will definitely have to spend a decent amount of time at the site in order to get anything above the $15.00 threshold or if the offers are your thing, you’ll reach that fairly quickly or depending on how fast the offer sites send the credit information to Squishy.

Is There a Place to Make a Full Time Income?

The answer to that question is undoubtedly yes. Places like Squishy Cash is a place to make a few bucks in the short term with some slight potential in their referral system. Usually though, it’s not enough to make a full time income, especially if you’re looking to replace a full time, traditional job.

In my opinion, the best place to learn how to build a long term online business where you can earn a full time income and replace a traditional day job, is Wealthy Affiliate. They give you the proper training that’s needed to build a thriving online business that’s based around Affiliate Marketing. They don’t lie to you and promise you thousands of dollars with just a few clicks of a mouse and making that much in a few days.

No, they tell you it will take time to earn the type of money you’ve always wanted to earn, but they tell you that it is all up to you. It all depends on you taking action from the training and what you learn from it and they provide plenty of great tools there for you to be successful.

I could go on and on about Wealthy Affiliate, but if you want to know more about it and want to give it a try, go and read my review and then sign up for the free trial. Unlike a lot of sites, they will not ask you for a credit card number to start your free trial and you get full access to the site for 7 days and then once it ends, you still have access to the first 10 lessons for free as well as your own website.
